                              Spoof text is a text of story which have has twist (funny part in the end of the story). It contains an unpredictable event which makes the story funny. Spoof Text usually tells a personal experience. Generic structure of this text are Orientation (The readers will be introduced to the characters who were involved and setting when time and where place was happened. By giving the orientation, readers will recognize the story.) Events (The writer tells what happened in the chronological order. Several events are explored in chronological way which able to arrange the story read nicely). Twist (This is the most important part of the story, because this part which will make us laugh, this part is unpredictable and the funniest part). Language features of this text are use past sentence (was, were, did, walked, drunk, ate). Using indirect and direct speech. Focusing on individual participant like as people, animals or certain thing. Using action verb (ate, ran, was walking, etc.) The use of adverbial phrase of time and place (in the garden, two days ago), Told in chronological order. Using connective (first, then, finally) and the last is important which contain twist in the end of story.

 

1)     Spoof text based on my experience:

“Wrong Address”

There was a girl, her name is Laila. Laila has a friend her name is Sinta. One day, when their class had event religion firstly event go on fluent, but in the middle event, Laila’s classmate was confused because the foods for consumtion hadn’t covered by plastic. So, Laila’s classmate command Laila and Sinta to bought white plastic in the store. (Orientation)

Laila and Sinta went to store to bought white plastic with rode motorcycle. At the first store, Laila asked “ I want to buy white plastic” and the seller answered “Yes, there is a white plastic, but the color was dull” then Sinta said “Any other, sir?” the seller answered” Yes, but red plastic ! how?” Sinta said “Oh no sir, thankyou”. Then Laila and Sinta went to second store. (Event)

At the second store, white plastic was empty too and the seller said that Laila and Sinta must went to Bakery Store in front of the Clinic Muhammadiyah. So, Laila and Sinta went to Bakery Store. Sinta said to seller “Is here sells plastics, sir?” and the seller answered with smile and confused “Oh no, here is Bakery Store not Plastic Store”. Then Laila and Sinta felt embarrassed after they were knew that the seller second store mean was Bakery Store and beside that there was store which sells plastic, but the store still closed. So finally Laila and Sinta back to first store and compulsory bought white plastic which the colour was dull. (Twist)

Why Students Must Recite Quran (Tashih) in Mahad UIN Maliki Malang

               In Maulana Malik Ibrahim Islamic State University , there are many students from multi regions and they have different background school before, some of them from Islamic Boarding School and the other from General High School, this is one reason why this University make ability to their new students to recite Quran or called tashih start from chapter (juz) 1 until chapter 30 (the last juz in Quran).
