Covid -19 : Pros and Cons Using Medical Mask and Hand sanitizer

             Nowadays, Indonesia is being hit by a new virus called Covid-19 or Corona Virus, that comes from the city of Wuhan, China. The impact of this virus not only causes death, but also causes worry to people who are already protected and one of the challenges of this virus is that people are encouraged to use mask and hand sanitizer, but there is pros and cons among the people.

Governments and media has big effect on the complicated society of this epidemic, some people strongly agree with the use of hand sanitizers and medical masks, people who can make large purchase they are buying many of medical mask and hand sanitizer, for stock up several weeks or even months, even though they are in good condition.

However this is being cons from part of people who can’t buy medical mask in large amount. People who really need medical mask such as people who are wary of virus provided by Covid 19, also for medical staff who need safe and standardized personal protective equipment, they are more require it. Now medical mask and hand sanitizer are became things sought and cause scarcity.

In conclusion, using a mask or hand sanitizer is only one way to determine, but what important is that we maintain personal hygiene and health. We should use with cloth masks instead of medical mask, because medical masks are more needed by medical officers and positive patients.

               In Maulana Malik Ibrahim Islamic State University , there are many students from multi regions and they have different background school before, some of them from Islamic Boarding School and the other from General High School, this is one reason why this University make ability to their new students to recite Quran or called tashih start from chapter (juz) 1 until chapter 30 (the last juz in Quran).
